Dr. Mohamad Alkassir grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Dr. K earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. Dr. K earned his professional degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery at Indiana University School of Dentistry. In addition to general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. K is also certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and provides treatment for TMJ, orofacial pain, and dermal fillers for facial esthetics. Dr. Alkassir continues to advance his education and knowledge and stays up to date with new technology.

We were lucky to find this dentist after searching for a new provider and we have been very happy with the service and staff. My husband, son and myself have all been seen by the dentist here and have been able to get all our cavities filled. My son had a more serious abscess, in which the dentist provided swift action in removing the tooth. The staff also made sure my son, who is 8, was comfortable and understood what was happening before just jumping into doing any work; which is much appreciated! We also have received our cleanings and I personally had a great experience with the technician who performed my cleaning. Probably the best cleaning I've ever had! The staff is also very kind and take a genuine concern into what we have going on and working with us on getting us in when we need to be seen. Overall, this dentist office is great, clean, very knowledgeable and makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

After many years of neglecting the need for professional dental care, I came to Gentle Dentistry in hopes to set a better example for my children and get my oral health back on track. I have never felt judged; only supported and encouraged through this process. Gentle Dentistry has THE BEST hygienist: so calming, comforting, and truly detailed in her work. I’ve never been in pain once. They have always been completely upfront about costs and have always advocated to do things in a way that’s affordable for me. I appreciate the honest and caring demeanor of the Dentist. The front desk staff has been fantastic at communicating and following up as promised.
